Short description of the tour
Dalyan is a pleasant little seaside resort whose main attraction is the local beach, where sea turtles lay their eggs from May to October.
The village got its name from the river of the same name, at the mouth of which it stands. Because of its location, everything is cut through by canals, straits and streams, along which you can successfully navigate in small boats, which the locals do quite successfully. Because of this characteristic, Dalyan is sometimes proudly referred to as the "Venice of Turkey".
There are many springs with thermal and mineral water in Dalyan and the surrounding area. You can see the ancient Lycian burials high in the mountains.
Specific fishing or hunting is popular with tourists. The prey is the local blue crab. It is considered a rare delicacy in the best restaurants in Europe.
