Welcome to Germany's largest Science Center, Experimenta Heilbronn! Where natural sciences and technology become tangible, translated into colors, shapes, and movements. Here, you can smell, taste, and feel them – you can experience them.
Located in the heart of Heilbronn, at Experimenta Square, the Science Center stands ready to be discovered. Whether you're a local or traveling from afar, every path leads to Experimenta.
The journey is as adventurous as a small research project: Whether by car, bicycle, bus, or train – Experimenta is like an expedition into the unknown. And, as with any expedition, preparation is key. Therefore, we have compiled some useful information for you.
By car, you can use the well-signposted parking garage, where you can park for 1.50 euros per hour or 12 euros per day. If you love the wind in your hair, you can also make a trip to Experimenta with your bicycle and park it at the bike stand in front of the main building. Experimenta is also easily accessible by public transportation, just a short walk from the "Heilbronn Harmonie" stop.
Now, the best part about Experimenta? It is accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial means. Experimenta offers various ticket categories based on what you want to experience and explore.
A regular adult admission is 12 euros, while reduced rates (for students, seniors) are only 6 euros. Families can purchase an affordable mini-group ticket for 29 euros, allowing up to two adults and three children access to the exhibition, special exhibition, and the Science Dome.
And now for the cherry on top: The Science Dome, that magical place taking you to distant galaxies or enabling a virtual reality journey into the human body – it is included in the price!
Experimenta is not just a place where science and technology can be experienced but also a place that awakens the inner child in all its visitors. Here, children of all ages can experiment and play, explore the laws of nature, and discover the colorful world of science.
Children from the age of three can make their first experiences with natural phenomena in a specially designed area. For the older "children," there are more challenging stations that provide new perspectives and stimulate further thinking. Workshops, lectures, guided tours, and events complement the family-friendly offering.
Seven days a week? Almost! Experimenta opens its doors six days a week for curious visitors. From Tuesday to Sunday, between 9 am and 6 pm, you can immerse yourself in the world of Experimenta. Experimenta takes a break on Mondays, except for holidays and school holidays.
If you're ready to be enchanted by the magic of Experimenta, don't hesitate. With its diverse offering and a concept that is both informative and entertaining, Experimenta Heilbronn is an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Swap everyday worries for a day full of wonders, and you too will say: Science has never been so much fun!
