Bitcoin comment sparked controversy among Nobel laureates in business
The crypto currencies and crypto assets (such as NFT) that have been very popular in recent years are still discussed. Although its legal validity is disputed, some countries have defined their official currencies as crypto currencies.
On the other hand, the famous Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman made a very controversial statement about Bitcoin and derivative cryptocurrencies in his latest statement.
Bitcoin has no legitimate basis
Krugman has a rather negative opinion on crypto currencies, which he continues in his latest statement.
Krugman said that Bitcoin has no legal basis and will lead to various political and social problems in the future. After the announcement, many cryptocurrency communities responded to economists.
Krugman's claims are not limited to this. Because in another statement he released in recent months, the economist said that Bitcoin has become more popular as he believes that assets like gold and silver that are exported based on government decisions will soon run out and their value unnecessarily is overrated.
