Will the insurance be valid for under 18s in the EYT?
The pension effect of an insured worker under the age of 18 covers the period between April 1981 and before September 1999. Within these dates, Article 81 of the Social Security Act comes into force for the insured.
In this context; Insured employees, regardless of whether they were before or after the age of 18. However, the rule that the insurance period begins when this age is reached does not apply to SSK employees who started as insured before April 1, 1981.
Entry into insurance before the age of 18 is only taken into account when determining the pension requirements. A person who started working as an SSK member in January 1999, although not yet 18 years old, can benefit from the EYT because of having joined before September 1999.
